Since 2009, Terpsichore Dance School has been committed to transmitting the essential values of Fusion dances:
well-being, sharing, cohesion and the pleasure of dancing together.
The term Fusion dance encompasses several formats such as Datura Style™, ATS FCBD®Style, Tribal Fusion Bellydance, DanceCraft™ or even ITS. These styles have their roots in the traditional dances of North Africa and the Middle East and merge them with other traditional dances of West Asia (Indian and Indonesian dances) as well as with more current dances such as hip-hop, classical or contemporary dances.
All our courses are provided by Ephedra, a qualified teacher who has taken numerous training courses in the United States with the founders of these formats: Rachel Brice, Carolena Nericcio and Zoe Jakes.
Dancer, teacher and choreographer, Ephedra has always enjoyed dancing but she fell in love with Fusion dances in France in the year 2010. Since then she has been passionate about this art form and has traveled to many places to train with the masters of Fusion styles such as Carolena Nericcio, director of the Cie FatChanceBellyDance® and founder of ATS FatChanceBellyDance®Style, Rachel Brice founder of Datura Style™, Zoe Jakes and many others.
Ephedra is an official graduate teacher of FCBD®Style and a FatChanceBellyDance® Partner Studio. She has also been trained by Rachel Brice through the 8Elements® curriculum program and is therefore an official Datura Style™ teacher. Ephedra has also been following DanceCraft® curriculum with Zoe Jakes and Integrated Dance® with Ashley Lopez.
